Having Issues with Self-Esteem? I can help improve your self-image through self-esteem therapy & counseling services.
I will take a look at the specific negative self-talk my client is facing and together we will discover the cause of what they are feeling. Counselor and client will also discover what defenses are causing suffering. Afterward, clients are better able to connect to others in relationships.
I believe in acceptance and being mindfully in the present; working towards increasing self-esteem. The concept of feeling our feelings all the way through is achievable and necessary in the movement toward emotional health.
"Every single being has an amazing, unfathomable gift that only meeting life head-on will reveal." Mark Nepo

WHAT IS SELF-ESTEEM?
Self-esteem, self-confidence, self-image…these are the trio that intertwine and perhaps have the most significant impact on a person’s well-being and enjoyment of life. Therefore, we find that self-esteem is often at the core of a variety of emotional difficulties. Self-esteem is confidence in one's own worth or abilities. Self-esteem and self-confidence may have the most compelling influence on a person's happiness and enjoyment in life. It would make sense then, that low self-esteem would be at the center of a variety of emotional issues. Low self-esteem can be found in people with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, addictions, and relationship problems.
